Hi Gang,

 

We had a great time Saturday; extending the garden by mulching with woodchips, and creating a large central plot.  Susan brought a bucket of recycled coffee grounds for adding organic matter.

These guys were sawing, nailing, and hammering to make seating for the garden.  There was a lot of excitement and pride in the air, and with all the help we were able to finish our tasks early. Remember to check the UNCG’s Garden website for current information. Boy, am I still sore (smile).

Dreaming of Spring

Now that the cold weather is REALLY here,  there is not much gardening to do until the Spring seed catalogs come out.   What crops are you planning for your first planting?
